About Us
Tatilat-e-Now research center, which opened last August, as part of Ofogh Gardeshgari Iranian Firm, is an independent center for developing new concepts of Tourism besides conducting various activities on heritages, cultural, natural, intangible and documentary, and handicrafts.
Activities conducted so far:
- Bringing together those interested in tourism and heritages as members in a Discussion-Place
- Cooperating closely with our colleagues in tourism and students of related fields of study
- Creating a free-to-the-members library with open access to sources
- Translating of “ Global Tourism policies and Practices, UNWTO, 2011,”
- Performing an exhibition of a self-taught and illiterate sculptor, known as Iranian Geppetto, Osman Rahmanzadeh, in Milad Tower, Tehran, in cooperation with other institutes
- Performing the First Nasser Khoasraw Travel Itinerary Writing Contest, named after a renowned Persian poet and traveler
- Offering articles on Tourism and Heritages to Tatilat-e-Now weekly newspaper

- Publishing books on Tourism and Heritages
- Performing diverse conferences and seminars on Tourism and Heritages
